What You Will Learn
This class is jammed packed with many techniques. You will learn how to create castings using the Iron Orchid Designs Moulds and how to decoupage with Roycycled Decoupage Tissue. In addition, you will work with Autentico Chalk Based Paints and their incredible waxes in a wide variety of colors. That’s right! We are going to show you how to bring out all the details in the castings you make by adding a beautiful wax patina. Each student gets to pick which bird and which colors they want to use. We have enough for everyone!
Learning these techniques will set the foundation for you to be able to apply them to many projects from small crafts to large scale furniture painting. You will discover how versatile these products are.
All paint, tools, and materials will be provided during this class, and each attendee receives a special discount on paint and creative tool (including IOD) purchases the day of the workshop.
Because paint can get a little messy, we ask that you wear clothing you do not mind getting paint on and bring an apron or smock with you.

Vintage Charm Homestead is located in the Mill Pond Shops section of town where the old waterwheel is. We are right next to Broken Earth Winery (on the right as you look at the buildings.) Enter through the first door. You can find parking in the following locations: in front of the building, down along the Mill Pond Shops near Joanies Pizza, across the street by Compass Realty, and the Archer Parking Lot.
